At GMP, I learned a tremendous amount about UNIQLO’s values, operations, and especially the people behind them. Yet, I learned forevermore about my own aspirations, interests, and the peers I could be working alongside in the future. The 5 days spent in Tokyo have given me a unique taste of what a truly global business environment looks and feels like. Beyond the fantastic workshops and seminars, I believe GMP’s true purpose and value can only be realized by exploring beyond our comfort zone. You’re in Tokyo, Live like it!

Uniqlo GMP was more than just a program; it was a transformative experience that redefined my perspective on global business. I had the privilege of learning from industry experts, working alongside passionate people from all over the world, and experiencing the unique culture of Japan firsthand. The program made me appreciate how much thought and innovation goes into each of Uniqlo’s products. I’m grateful for this opportunity and highly recommend it to students who aim to be future global business leaders. Uniqlo GMP was indeed an unparalleled experience!

The GMP program was a wonderful experience that introduced me to both Japan and UNIQLO. I was given the opportunity to work on solving real-life problems and goals, alongside a fantastic group of people from all over the world. As someone who later joined the company as a UMC, this was the perfect way to start my career with UNIQLO. I can’t recommend this program enough!

Learning from UNIQLO’s seasoned leaders in global marketing, storefront operations, and merchandising, I gained invaluable insights into the retail industry. I was captivated by the strong emphasis on staying true to corporate philosophy and brand values. Witnessing firsthand how UNIQLO integrates these principles into every part of its operations was an eye-opening experience that has forever altered my approach to business! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to connect with students from all around the world, I was truly inspired by the diverse ideas and perspectives from everyone I met through the program.

The Global Management Program was so impactful for my professional development and stands out as one of the most memorable experiences of my college career. The program’s in-depth look at retail strategy innovation and decision-making through speakers and case studies opened my eyes to Uniqlo’s commitment to its LifeWear philosophy. Additionally, connecting with top students from around the world was the most unique opportunity that expanded my perspective while building lasting connections. I’m truly grateful for my time in Tokyo, Japan, and I am excited to carry this experience as I move forward in my career.

Being part of UNIQLO’s GMP was a heartfelt and eye-opening experience. I learned from industry leaders and collaborated with passionate people, deeply connecting with the company’s values, including the concept of LifeWear, customer-first thinking, inclusivity, and sustainability. I leave Tokyo with gratitude, fresh perspectives, and a strong desire to turn these lessons into meaningful impact.

This program truly took me to the next stage. I learned so much about the philosophical concepts of Fast Retailing through the guest speaker sessions and how to get the best results as a group. Every participant was so thoughtful and collaborative that I never hesitated to speak up to share my ideas and communicate with my team members, and could confidently contribute to the group without any trouble.

The Global Management Program has profoundly enhanced my professional journey from Day One. Immersed in the dynamic environment of Tokyo, particularly at the Ariake Office, I was set up for success from the start. It was a privilege to collaborate with talented, driven retail business leaders and gain invaluable insights into leading retail on a global scale. The networking opportunities, lifelong connections, constructive feedback, lessons, and skills I acquired through this program are truly invaluable and will continue to shape my career trajectory.

The GMP program was truly both career- and life-changing. Being exposed to numerous speakers with extensive backgrounds at UNIQLO provided a valuable opportunity for learning and career growth. Additionally, collaborating on ideas with team members and mentors from around the world created an incredibly positive and collaborative environment. Experiencing the program in Japan was one of the most remarkable aspects; immersing myself in the culture and energy of UNIQLO’s home country was both inspiring and unforgettable. The program succeeded in developing us as future leaders in the retail industry!

The program was incredible, and I met tons of awesome people here. I’d say it was one of the most memorable trips of my university life, especially having spent most of my school time during the pandemic. Everyone I met there, from senior management to the GMP organizing team, from other participants to my teammates, was so kind and willing to facilitate each other’s learning. I was mostly inspired by all the management with their culture and philosophy in mind at UNIQLO.

Global Management Program 2024 gave me an amazing opportunity to tackle global business cases with a team of various international leaders and young ambitious students all over the world.
International friends whom I can trust, and FR’s long lasting principles and mindsets are one of the precious things I have gained in 6days program.
